2006 Problem Based Learning

During Term Two of 2006, all MYLU classes will be involved in our school's Problem Based Learning program. This wiki will provide students with the structure and resources needed to solve our selected problem and will house a lot of the student work from this unit. For ease of navigation, each Learning Area will have its own starting page with student pages added to and navigated from that point.

Problem Based Learning has been a focus at Lockleys North Primary School since 2003 and involves the teaming of the ICT Coordinator, the Teacher-Librarian with the learning team teachers to design a unit of work around an ill-structured problem. The process of Problem Based Learning used by the MYLU team can be found on the Technology School Of The Future website.
Problems covered over the last few years include:
2003 -
2004 - "What Can Australian Students Do To Help Refugees Settling In Our Country?"
2005 - " How Can Microcredit Assist People In Poverty?"
2006 - "What Does It Mean To Be Australian?"
